Our Kelly Pool app is free to play, with ads.
Ads allow us to provide further developments to the app, including adding new features and supporting newer devices.
We also offer Kelly Pool Plus as an optional premium subscription that offers multiple features, including no ads, further customization and our private leaderboard feature. This is accessible via the Unlock Kelly Pool Plus button at the top of the settings page in the app.
There are multiple benefits of using our app compared to using a traditional shaker set:
Compared to a standard pool table game, Kelly Pool allocates 1-7 ball numbers to each player and allows for 2-15 players to participate each game.
Each game can be played on either a Sink Balls You Win or Last Man Standing basis, with the rules explained both in our app and on our dedicated Kelly Pool Rules page.
These rules are also available via the main Rules button on the home page of the Kelly Pool app.
Either rule set is ideal for small groups.
If you are using the Sink Balls You Win rule set, you should consider allocating more than 1 ball each to extend the game time.
Either rule set is ideal for large groups.
For 6 or 7 players under the Sink Balls You Win rule set, you will want to allocate 2 balls each to extend game time.
For 8+ players, you will want to consider the Last Man Standing rule set, to extend game time.
There are no set steps/rules on how to determine the player order or who goes first.
The only rule is that the player order has to be followed for the entire game, accommodating for eliminated players when playing Last Man Standing.
No, the white ball cannot be allocated to a player. as its designed to be the cue ball that is hit on each turn.
The purpose of the white/cue ball is to be hit each time, to allow the game to progress.

Yes, the black 8 ball can be allocated to any player like any number.
Unlike a traditional pool table game, the 8 ball can be sunk into any pocket at anytime during the game, for either rule set.
All of the specialised rules above are each optional.
These rules have been included above, to give you ideas for any additional rules you might want to put in place.
All that is required is that all players agree to all specialized rules that will apply to each game.
The player can either continue to play or stop entirely after beign eliminated.
This is a choice you as a group can decide upon, before starting the game.
Upon completing your current game, please make sure the correct balls are entered for a winner to appear on the screen.
If you tap on the Quick Replay option, it will ask you to enter any updated preferences then it will automatically sort numbers ready for the next game.
Yes, we do offer a one-time Remove Ads option via the app's settings screen.
Kelly Pool Plus is an optional premium tier that offers:
Subscriptions are available on either an annual or monthly basis.
To view pricing for your country, please view our subscription payment screen by opening the app and tapping on the crown in the top right corner of the apps home screen.
To access the screen for removing ads, please open the app, tap on Settings then Remove Ads.
After tapping on the Pay to Remove Ads button, it will ask you to process the in-app purchase with your Apple or Google Play App Store account.
After the payment has been processed, the ads will be hidden on your device automatically.

Firstly, we recommend closing the app fully, via your phones multitasking screen then relaunching the app a minute later.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, we recommend opening the app and navigating back to the Settings screen and tap on the Unlock Kelly Pool Plus or Remove Ads button.
On this screen that appears, tap on the Restore Purchases button. This will check to make sure the transaction has been previously processed with your Apple or Google Play App Store Account.
If the transaction is found on your account, an alert will appear to say the transaction was Purchased or Restored successfully.

We offer multiple sound effects for when a player wins, player loses and when a ball sinks.
These sound effect options are in addition to turning off each separately.
To change or disable these sound effects (SFXs), please open the app, navigate to Settings and Sound Effects.
We offer the ability to change your background from green (default) to red or blue to reflect the felt on the pool table you are using.
These coloured backgrounds will only appear when dark mode is not enabled.

Yes, if you prefer stop your phone or tablet going to sleep during an active game we have an option in settings to keep the app open for all screens.
Please note this will lead to more battery usage.
To change your preference, please open the app, navigate to Settings and tap on Keep Screen On. Tap on either On or Off respectively.
We offer the remember player names feature to make it easier for you to start new games without having to retype frequently participating players each time.
To disable this feature, please open the app, navigate to Settings and tap on Remember Player Names. Tap on either On or Off respectively.
We offer a Smart Player Details option, which records your player and ball count combinations on your device, so we can easily apply your frequently used combination to make it faster each time you start a new game.
